Our Values
The community at Gracie Barra Champions makes our school what it is, and you too can be one of us. You will be impressed by how committed each and every team member is to your learning. Our instructors, staff, and other students make our environment friendly yet the training is demanding, which pushes all of us to achieve our best.
Our Team
Professor Kurt Zettlemoyer is an IBJJF certified, first degree black belt and has trained in martial arts for over 15 years. He believes that Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and martial arts offers a great opportunity for families to stay connected through training together by offering the opportunity for both parents and children to share in the same sport.
Coach Aaron Phillips is an accomplished professional mixed martial arts fighter. He appeared on the Ultimate Fighter Season 29 and is currently active fighting in MMA and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He brings an array of striking and wrestling knowledge to our team and currently teaches kickboxing and nogi grappling at our academy.
Coach Cee Riley’s vast experience coaching and competing gives the team another valuable asset to learn from and train under. Whether you are an MMA fighter or casual kickboxing student simply trying to improve your stand up skills, Coach Cee’s teaching methods will increase your skill level quickly and effectively.
Our Method
At Gracie Barra Champions we strive to help students get the most out of their training. For students with consistency and dedication, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and combat sports becomes a life-style for them and our community readily enjoys all of the benefits of training Jiu-Jitsu and mixed martial arts both on and off the mats.
